    You will be happy to know that... YES Medicare does cover up to 80% , If YOU qualify  - The other 20% can  be paid buy either you or your health care provider.


    2.) How will Medicare determine if I qualify For a FREEE scooter or electric wheelchair?

       You must have a valid medical reason as to why you cann't operate a manual wheelchair. 

       Their must be a real need for the power chair or electric scooter.

       You must prove that walking or useing a regular wheelchair independently around your house is difficult to do safely.


    3.) I Have a medicare HMO... Will this type of coverage pay for my chair or scooter?

    7.) Are batteries good as long as they are kept charged?

    A single battery can serve you for as many as two years as long as it is charged properly and maintained with care.
